Animal Rescue Tycoon

Today is the day! Together with Dima Dev., we’re proud to launch Animal Rescue Tycoon, created in Fortnite for the Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V.
 
For almost six months, we’ve been building this project with an incredible team. 💚
 
 

 

And the first results are already here. Even before the official launch, the map reached #2 worldwide in the “Updated” category and hit #1 multiple times in the “New” category over the past few days. Early numbers:
• 340,419 impressions (April 25)
• 6,000 clicks (April 25)
• 4,061 plays (April 25)
• 592 favorites
• 157,400 minutes played
 
That last number says a lot. Players are spending real time in a game built to introduce animal welfare in a fun, engaging, and natural way.
 
Inside the experience, players build their own shelter, rescue animals in need, and manage care, donations, and expansion, inspired by the real work the Deutscher Tierschutzbund does every single day.
 
Even better: a large part of the revenue generated through the mode goes directly to supporting their animal welfare initiatives.
 
 
And we’re only getting started. Alongside the map, we’re building a dedicated Discord community. Without any activations yet, it has already grown to almost 200 members. This server will become the central hub for campaigns, education, connection, and community, bringing together both animal welfare supporters and gamers alike.
 
Today also marks the start of a major creator campaign with LocoLea, HeyStan and Haselnuuss, who’ll be playing the map live with their communities. And yes… there’s also a 4-player co-op mode 👀
 
Are there bugs? Of course, here and there. But after strong feedback from our Discord playtests, we knew it was time to launch and improve further along the way. Because impact matters more than perfection.
